Terms of Service
The terms that govern a Batch account. Plain language on purpose.
Effective September 26, 2026
Who you're contracting with
Batch is built and operated by Handled Agency LLC, a South Carolina LLC based in Greenville. When you sign up, your agreement is with Handled Agency LLC.
What you're paying for
A one-time $1,500 setup fee covers domain, mail and DNS setup, list import, and your site built to one of our layouts in your brand. It's a license and setup fee for software Batch already owns, not a commission to build something new, and it doesn't transfer any ownership of the software to you.
The $75/mo fee covers hosting, updates, fixes, and email support. Ordering (drops, pre-orders, pickup slots) is included in every account and starts switched off; turning it on later doesn't cost a new setup fee. The monthly doesn't include new design or content work beyond the initial setup; that's billed separately at $150/hr or quoted as its own project.
Batch takes no percentage of your sales. Once ordering is switched on, payments run through your own Stripe account and land with you directly.
Setup scope
Setup is capped: one layout choice and two rounds of revisions. Additional layout changes or a redesign are quoted separately.
Billing and cancellation
After setup, billing is month to month. Cancel any time; there's no long-term contract. Founding-spot pricing, when offered, locks your monthly rate for 12 months from signup.
Your content stays yours
You own your business content: your photos, your copy, your customer list, your data. If you cancel, you can export your list and content, and we'll help you point your domain elsewhere. Batch keeps the software, the templates, and the underlying system.
What we don't promise
We don't guarantee specific sales results, search rankings, or that a feature marked "coming soon" ships by a particular date. We do promise the features listed as included on the pricing page are live and working at signup.
Liability
Handled Agency LLC's liability under this agreement is limited to fees paid in the 12 months before a claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost sales) arising from use of Batch.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you meaningfully, we'll tell you before it takes effect, not just update this page silently.
